Ikon Suspension's shock absorbers are made under an exclusive world-wide licence from Koni (Koni is a subsidiary of ITT). All Ikon Suspension's shock absorbers (shocks), springs, fork springs and progressive rate suspension for motor cycles and motor scooters use the same part numbers and naming conventions as the original Koni's with all of the parts being interchangeable with the last series of Koni Shocks as built by Koni. Many of the Ikon parts are made with tooling purchased from Koni and some parts are made by the same outside and third party suppliers who supplied Koni. Ikon Suspension the part data and specifications as supplied by Koni to make ALL of Ikon Suspension's shock absorber series (such as 76 series and 7610 series) and spare parts.
Koni was an icon in Motorbike and Motorscooter suspension, so we are determined to carry on that tradition as Ikon.

Welcome to Ikon Suspension. Ikon Suspension is a division of Proven Products Pty Ltd, which specialises in the manufacture of motorcycle shock absorbers and springs. While the name Ikon only hit the road in 2001, Proven Products has specialised in suspension since 1962. You can see more about Proven Products and all the other suspension products we distribute (in addition to Ikon Suspension) on our web site. At Ikon we make shocks for sport bikes, cruisers, retro or naked bikes, side cars, vintage road and off road bikes, speedway, ATV and 4 wheelers and a host of special applications. In fact if you don't find your need on our list please ask, as there will probably be something we can do for you. The shocks we make are all rebuildable. Many have externally adjustable rebound damping (7610 series) and adjustable spring preload. Our 76 series has adjustable spring preload but fixed rate damping. Most models in both series have chrome plated bodies and are offered with a choice of black or chrome springs. Our springs are primarily of a progressive rate design. We also have a few linear rate springs we use for specific situations or applications. Our 7614 series takes the best of the 7610 series, but adds a light-weight aluminium body and gas pressurisation to top it off! All Ikon shocks are individually dyno tested and checked before being packaged ready to ship to you. The Ikon range also includes a large number of fork springs for the bikes mentioned above and more. We also have some useful tools and shock parts. We invite you to "Bike on with Ikon".
