Ikon Suspension's shock absorbers are made under an exclusive world-wide licence from Koni (Koni is a subsidiary of ITT). All Ikon Suspension's shock absorbers (shocks), springs, fork springs and progressive rate suspension for motor cycles and motor scooters use the same part numbers and naming conventions as the original Koni's with all of the parts being interchangeable with the last series of Koni Shocks as built by Koni. Many of the Ikon parts are made with tooling purchased from Koni and some parts are made by the same outside and third party suppliers who supplied Koni. Ikon Suspension the part data and specifications as supplied by Koni to make ALL of Ikon Suspension's shock absorber series (such as 76 series and 7610 series) and spare parts.
Koni was an icon in Motorbike and Motorscooter suspension, so we are determined to carry on that tradition as Ikon.

SYDNEY – OCTOBER 3, 2006: Power Productions is proud to announce IKON Suspension as the first corporate partner for the 2007 Australian 500cc Speedway Motorcycle Championship Series – which will feature World Speedway Champion, Jason Crump.IKON – manufactured by Albury-based Proven Products – have long been a supporter of Australian Speedway motorcycling and their association with the 2007 Championship Series continues that trend. IKON Suspension for motorcycles is sold across Australia and around the world with exports to the UK, Europe, Japan, the USA and Canada forming a large part of annual sales. The five round Australian Championship Series will speed its way through three states of Australia in ten days, culminating in a grand finale at the Sydney Showground, Homebush Bay on January 12. "We're very happy to re-acquaint ourselves with Geoff Lowe and IKON Suspension," said Event Director, Rod Colquhoun. "Power Productions and Geoff have had a close association over many years and we're excited that he can see the value of being involved in this Championship." Lowe has worked extensively behind the scenes in Australian motorcycle Speedway. Some years ago, he and Power Productions Managing Director, David Tapp, were co-promoters of the Gosford Showground Speedway. Geoff also formed an integral part of the team that broadcast the World Speedway Grand Prix series live throughout Australia on the now defunct C7 Sport in the late 1990s. Amazingly, he would drive from Albury to C7's studios in Sydney to be a part of each Grand Prix telecast! "Motorcycle Speedway is a passion, along with forming a critical part of my business," Lowe said. "I'm glad IKON Suspension can assist Power Productions in making this one of the best Australian Championship Series' on record. The World Class line-up, along with showcasing the sport at some fantastic venues was a real attraction for Proven Products. "I'm especially looking forward to seeing Jason Crump in a competitive field in Australia for the first time in some years, also the continued development of our young guns and how they will take it up to the likes of Crump and Todd Wiltshire." The 2007 Australian 500cc Speedway Motorcycle Championships begin on January 3 at Mildura's Olympic Park Speedway. The full calendar is as follows:
